how can i get rid of my hematoma lump???

I didn’t really know what category to put this in but here we go – about 2 and a half years ago I was riding my trials bike (the one that has no seat) and I was going over a tractor tire and fell off and my thigh landed on the end of the handle bar, leaving a massive bruise. Since then I’ve had a large hematoma on my thigh, and now that I’m losing weight, it’s annoying the buggery out of me. I’ve been to the doctor and had an ultrasound done a year or so back and he doesn’t want to drain it because it’s too close to the groin glands and could get infected (I don’t think so, it’s down near my knee, but anyhoo) I was wondering if anyone else here has/had one and how i can get rid of it?
