chinese take out

So I went with a buddy to a chinese take out place for lunch. Unfortunately they didn't have any nutrition info for anything they serve... and now I'm trying to figure out where I'm at for my calories. :grumble:
So I had a spicy mongolian beef bowl... its about a medium sized bowl with mostly rice and some beef on top with onions, green peppers and sauce. I have no idea how to estimate the calories of it. I only ate about 3/4 of it.. saving the rest for dinner lol.
Any ideas on what the calories might be?

I would calculate your rice, about how many cups do you think there was? And then I would search for a beef stir fry (by the cup measurement) and add that. Together they will be a guesstimate to what you ate, but not 100 percent correct because that is impossible unless you have the nutritional info. Or you could just take it as a cheat day and not count it at all :bigsmile:0

I Agree with that or consider it a cheat day, I hate going to places that dont have nutritional value.0 -
I know that all places may be different but maybe if you just did a guesstimate by using another restaurants nutritional info. I found nutritional info on Mongolian beef at a restaurant called Pei Wei:

Not sure if it helps, but it's an idea.0 -

Ok I'll try the rice and stir fry idea. As long as I'm within a couple hundred I'm happy. hehe
I don't like the thought of cheat days and not counting calories... even if I decide to eat junk I still wanna calculate it and know how bad I messed up for the day. Lets me prepare for the evil scale!
Gonna hit my workout hard tonight just in case my calculations are way off.0
