gimme a weight lifting routine, please

I am a n00b. I am ok with lifting heavy... what do you recomend?
I want to work my muscles and get away from cardio 3x a week.

    Starting Strength or Stronglifts 5x5. They're similar, but Starting Strength comes with a book with tremendous detail on how to do the lifts and *why* they're important. Both are geared toward utter beginners.

    Both have you doing basic compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, etc) 3x a week, an hour a session.
