I don't know if this is the place to post, but I'm assuming it is. I'm looking for some new sneakers, I just don't know where to start or what kind to get?! I would like to start doing some jogging/running here soon so I do want comfort. My current ones are beginning to give me blisters in the outside of my heels and they hurt like hell! Plus, they're old and getting worn out. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it! Thankssss!! :)

Go to a running store and get fitted. They will analyze your foot and stride, and give you recommendations, and you can usually try them out either outside or on a treadmill. If you are going to do any kind of running/jogging, you want to have the right shoes for your feet.

I love New Balance....get fitted at one of their stores (not outlet) and you should be happy for a long time. When shoes start to break down....get another pair to avoid the pain. I get fitted each time....your feet do change!

I love Brooks. You can go to there website and take a survey about your feet, running style and what you will use the shoes or )i.e. running, jogging, walking). The you can buy online or go to the store and look for the type. I had nikes but do not care for them as they do not support my ankles enough nor do they fit my arches right. Good luck.

I've had asics, Nike, New Balance, and now I have Brooks and they by far are my favorite! But I would say try on shoes until they feel comfortable to you, I probably sat in the store and walked/jogged around in 10 different sneakers until I found the ones I liked, to me its a lot of where your arch falls and how high it is, etc. I would definitely suggest going to a running store, you can try them out and most places have a return policy if you don't like them, I know personally I"m sold on Brooks though, but they are pricey (I think mine were like $110) but they've definitely outlasted my Nikes by a long shot!
