I have been doing p90x. I just started phase 3 and I notice some changes in my body but not the scale. How long did it take you to see the scale move? I was doing the entire 12 to 15 rep thing, and now I my goal is 8 reps. I am loving it, but would think the scale at some point would drop cause I dont think im going to be 270 pounds of muscle by just eating good and working out. thanks

You mention exercise, but it's really all about your diet.0

I've had several clients who have taken up heavy lifting with little or no movement on the scale. But they are reporting smaller clothing sizes. Scale isn't always the go to for changing your physique.

I stayed the same weight for 4 weeks before I started the 30ds, and ended up the same weight with the 30ds. So I did have 8 weeks of the same weight. I started weight training the next week, lifting heavy, and lost 6lbs withing about 1.5 weeks. I gained 3-4lbs of it back while maintaining my deficit with my exercise, but have consistently lost inches:) That was the only time that I have lost weight like that, and have been at a standstill again for about 2 months.0

thanks for posting this question.
i'm glad i found it. this has been making me NUTS! i was losing regularly then really kicked up my work outs. R.I.P.P.E.D. class 1-3 nights a week, zumba in addition to my walking and weighted hula hoop. i can't possibly eat all my extra calories but i do try to fit more in and make them calories with a purpose. i'm stuck solid at 167 but i'm back into size 10 jeans. doesn't make any sense to me. i keep trying to stay off the scale but i've been in such a mindset for so many years of the success being all about the numbers that it's becoming a whole different way of trying to look at it.0
