Insulin Resistance and 8K Training

Hey guys! I found out recently that I am insulin resistant, so I begin to cut processed sugars and white carbs from my diet. I am trying to limit myself to no more than 10g of sugars per day and 30g of carbs. I am just feeling like this might be hindering my 8k training some since I need carbs for energy to run.

Anyone else running and using the same/similar carb/sugar intake numbers? How do you feel after a run? What are your pre and post run snacks? Would LOVE to hear from someone :) TIA!!!
