Hi I started on this site yesterday, now my job is cleaning houses
and today so far I have cleaned for 270 min I put this in the exercise
calculator and it says I have burned off 1051 calories is this right.

I could be. The best way to check would be to monitor your heart rate. Here is a link to a calculator that calculates calories burned based on heart rate, age and weight.

Did you put your lifestyle in as "sedentary" or "active"? If you chose "active", then the calories for your daily job are already worked in to your allotment and you probably shouldn't log them as exercise as well.
270 minutes is 4.5 hours. If you worked moderately hard cleaning for 4.5 hours, then you could easily burn off 1000 calories. I'd experiment with that level and see if you lose weight. If you feel tired and hungry all the time, up the calories a bit (keeping protein and fat higher if you can). If you feel great but aren't losing any weight, lower the calories a bit.
Or you could buy a heart rate monitor and start watching the calories a little more scientifically.0 -
