Vitamin curiosity

So, I'm in no way asking for advice as to what vitamins I should/should not be taking, but I'm curious.

Does anyone have a link to empirical research stating that vitamins aid in the boost of weight loss? I'm just curious.

My doctor prescribed me some (yes, I'm deficient in many different areas) different vitamins because my counts are low. I'm just curious if this may/may not have an effect on helping me in my weight loss journey.

I know that vitamins aren't the "miracle" cure, or maybe they don't even help at all. Just wondering what you all have experienced.


Don't worry friends. I plan to keep up the tough work. :-) Diet and exercise are the only way to go for quick results!


PS--I would have asked my doc, but it didn't even cross my mind then. Whoops.

    Personally I take a multivitamin as cheap insurance as I may not eat as balanced a diet as I sometimes should.

    Like you I'd love to see peer reviewed clinical trials that either support or disprove a lot of the marketing mumbo jumbo out there.
