I started MFP in the end of February, I weighed 273lbs when I started and I weighed myself this morning and I am 248.8!!! I am under 250, I have weighed over 250 for many years. To finally be below it feels great!!!!! Cant wait to hit my next goal.

I can imagine how you must be feeling to reach a weight you haven't seen in years. Congrats! :flowerforyou: I haven't been below 200lbs in nearly fifteen years. I'm hoping to reach ONEderland by the end of the summer (September 21st). I'm at 250lbs right now (SW: 297lbs on 05/30/2011).
  • Congrats... I know you feel amazing... keep up the good work :flowerforyou:

Super! Congrats to you. :flowerforyou: ~ I too know the elated feeling of getting under 250. I started losing in Oct. 2011 (was 272), not I am at 239 (last weigh in). I totally feel your proudness to get under one big milestone. Best of Luck to you~ hold your head high.... You deserve the glory! Note: I will be cheering you to get under 200!

You are off to a great start! Keep focusing on reaching the smaller milestones. Some of mine are/were "BMI<40", "250", "Halfway to GOAL", "reaching ONEderland", "BMI<30" and then "150" and then "GOAL". Breaking it into smaller challenges gives you attainable goals that will motivate you to carry on to the next one.

    Best wishes.
