My thighs are bulky.

They have big muscles AND fat. I don't like them. So what am I going to do about them? Keep lifting weights, and eat at a small calorie deficit (including adequate protein), and lose body fat.

    Me too! My thighs are the last place to lose fat....but lose it they will!

    Oh, I love them now. I can catch glimpses of my definition when I move. They look super awesome during my squats. My thighs would be big without muscles but they'd just be fat. They look much better with muscles under the fat. Also my muscles on my upper body really help balance out my thighs. In short, I love muscles, and weight lifting.

    That's my trouble spot but I don't have any muscle. Working on it.

  • I was thinking the same thing this morning! My calves are very muscular. So, are my thighs, but there's this flab on the inner thigh...gotta work on that...

    My thighs are bulky, too. You have a good silhouette, though....my saddlebags (still) prevent me from posting any silhouette photos. I'm hoping by December.

    Thats what I thought. Damn was I ever wrong. Cardio was making it worse. Switched to lifting and ST for 80% of my workouts- lost 6 inches on each thigh so far in the last year.

    After a dissapointing measurement yesterday, this gives me hope!

    I abandoned my cardio-purist ways and am loving ST. To me even more important than how my body looks is the VAST (and boy do i mean vast) improvement over how my body functions.

    A full load of groceries to my 2nd floor apartment alone in one trip? No problem.

    Un-sticking our crazy 1950's windows? I got this.

    Call my boyfriend to help me move the (insanely heavy) solid wood desk to clean? Never again!!

    I *heart* my increased strength!!

    I love my big thighs. They keep me from looking like a boy.... and I love the look on my husband's face when he squeezes my leg and I flex it.

    I hate that all the shorts I tried on yesterday were designed for someone with the "coveted" thigh gap. :ohwell:

  • sometimes legs are just always gonna be 'bulky' i was like 113 in highschool but my thighs were HUGE! (ran track for years) all the men i have known dig those 'thick' thighs - count your blessings!

    I need to be patient cus I have HUGE thighs too and I dont like them! But I am determined to make them go away, at least a little bit! lol
