Banish fat, boost metabolism

Planning on starting this today along with continuing the 30DS, but only doing half of the banish fat, boost metabolism workout.

Does anyone know what to put for the banish fat boost metabolism workout under excersise? any feedback about this workout?

    I'd probably log it as "calisthenics- vigorous effort" if you don't have a heart rate monitor.

    I think it's a good cardio workout with some nice ab work. Jillian's workouts, while pretty good, started to have a dread factor me. Something about her style of teaching I can only take in small doses. It's not the intensity; 've liked tough workouts like Insanity. It's just the style. I do like them occasionally, though, and BFBM is a good workout, pretty high impact and hard on the joints though so make sure to land softly and keep your core solid.

    I created an exercise for it, but vigorous aerobics is probably accurate. Once your heart rate is up, you burn around 100 calories/10 minutes, but if you are doing the circuits that are less aerobic you might burn less. Ultimately a heart rate monitor is the way to go. On the dvd you can choose to only do certain circuits if you don't want to or have time to do all 7. If you are only doing 3 or 4 you might watch the video and choose which ones you want to do. I actually did the whole thing this morning, but I often stop early if I am short on time.
