Headache and exercise

Hey all, I have a major headache today and according to my training plan, I should go running tonight. However, the pain is making me sleepy and is really getting in my way. And I don't really want to take a pill.
So, do you guys think it would be okay to go running? Or should I listen to my aching head and just sleep the pain off?

Do what feels right to you, but start with a bunch of extra water in case it's dehydration.
Personally, I'd start with a lighter workout (light jog, brisk walk) and see if the headache gets better while you are warming up, and take it from there. If it feels OK, do it. If it feels good, do more of it. If it feels bad, do what you feel is best.0
