Hi my name is Dawn and I signed up to this website only two days ago. I stumbled across this website whilst looking for new diet ideas and I think its fantastic. I have been struggling with my weight for about two years and nothing really seems to work. My doctor suggested calorie counting instead of using diets such as weight watchers or atkins. I have tried every diet going but never calorie counting.
This website has already been a massive help as I feel so in control and focused with my eating. I no longer feel like planning my meals to be a chore and even started exercising again. The goals are really good and I especially like when you complete your day it tells you where you should be in 5 weeks time. This is really encouraging. All of the girls in my workplace have signed up as well.
Hopefully, I will start losing weight now! Look forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm glad you've found MFP! It's a great place for motivation, support, and advice!
I too joined this website because someone at work had already found it. I was slacking big time on tracking for a while but earlier this week I found another website that provides meal plans, and exercise plans which I'm liking. It also tracks your food and exercise. The one thing that the new website has that this one doesn't is a stress management place. So far I'm not too into that part of it.
The community message boards are much better on this website, lots more people use them! It's hard to post things if no one will answer you.
