Half Marathon Training Plans

I've been running since November. I run miminum 3 days a week and average about 10-14 miles per week. I am planning on a half marathon at the Disney Wine & Dine, but haven't found a training program that I love. So I figured I'd ask for suggestions. I would like a longer training program in terms of 16-20 weeks. I would like it to have ample crosstraining time and most of all I want to avoid injury. Any suggestions or thoughts? i am at this time considering just making my own with using certain formats I have seen primarily Hal Higdon's 12 week half for novices and duplicating most of the weeks making it a longer program.
