Why am I having such a bad week?

  I can't just blame it on my time of the month. This week I've had 1 bar of chocolate, 2 pieces of chocolate cake and 3 lots of ice cream, the last of which I've just stuffed down my neck and now I'm feeling guilty

I feel your pain!! Ice cream is my weakness and I've had 3 servings this week. Luckily I found the Blue Bunny sugar free varities so it's not "as bad" on my calorie count!

I get in funks where it's an absolute struggle for me to do what I need to do and almost literally have to be kicked in the butt to do what I need to do. Had it not been for the fact that I have banned ALL junk food from our house, I wouldn't have lost a single pound. The best way to combat stuff like that is a.) taking away the temptation and b.) allowing yourself to have small indulgences every once in a while so you don't feel like you're depriving yourself of the things that you crave. Skinny Cow makes wonderful ice cream bars/sandwiches that are relatively low calorie. It may be a good idea for you to invest in something like that so once again, you don't feel like you're depriving yourself.

Good luck on getting back on track! We all have weeks like that (this is it for me!).

There's also slow churned, no sugar added Edy's ice-cream too! My favorite is cookie dough! I can't tell the difference from the "real" thing!

You know what, an occasional cheat is ok. Yes it adds weight but it will restart your body's metabolism and you'll lose the added weight quickly.:drinker:

I'm having a week like that too. Can't figure out why all I want to eat is fast food and it's not even TOM. I wish I had a magic wand that made the fat just dissappear!

Don't let it get you down. You can't change the past so don't dwell on it. You have to remember how you feel right now so the next time you feel like binging you can call on those bad feelings to help you resist. None of us are perfect, and we all have those days, weeks, and unfortunately months. Let it go! Have a great rest of the day. The next minute is a new one, take it!

    Good Luck!
  • Thanks guys, jut so angry at myself as this means so much to me and I feel like I've let myself down.

The only way you let yourself down is that you don't stop. We all need ice cream some times. I've learned to silence PMS with yogurt and oatmeal with honey. There's nothing wrong with having chocolate or fast food every now and then. Remember it takes 3500 cals to make a pound of fat. :flowerforyou:

That isn't good advise- Cause then people will make excuses such as restarting your body's metabolism.
