Sparkle for the 4th of July Challenge

I've recently stopped following weight watchers, for many reasons. This challenge is something I've been a part of there, and many more before it, and it is one thing I don't want to leave behind, so I'm bringing it with me.
This challenge is to focus on losing 14 pounds (or any weight goal you set for yourself) so you can sparkle for the 4th of July. The challenge started on May 1, 2012. There are about 9 weeks left until 4th of July so the 14 pounds would average roughly a pound and a half a week..Anyone is welcome to join at any time, just adjust your goal accordingly. Please start your post with your name, where you are from and your weight loss so far this challenge.
This board is a place to talk about our journeys -- our successes, challenges, or anything else you want to discuss.
I will try to start the thread in the morning but if you don't see it, feel free to start it by copying and pasting this message first so that new (and existing) participants can find us. For example, Sparkle for 4th of July Challenge - Monday. If you do start the message board it can be helpful to have a question of the day (QOTD), but not a requirement to start the board.
I hope you will join me so we can sparkle together!

Hi!! I hope to see some faces in here soon!! I know these challenges have helped me a lot on WW and I hope to revamp here on My Fitness Pal!!
QoTD: Does anyone follow any specific diet plan, or do you just track calories.
AoTD: Right now, I'm just tracking my calories and eating in a healthy manor. I learned a lot on WW and hope to carry that over!0
