When I need a couple hundred calories, I spread a tbsp of peanut butter on a small-ish banana. That's about 200. If you need more, add a couple slices of bread to make a peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Man, I wish I had 500 cals left for today!!

When I'm lacking in the calorie department, I have either baked lays or an apple. You can never go wrong with fruit, and it kind of satisfies a sweet tooth!

Cashews... and they are high in iron, which for us gals is a bonus. If you want to really indulge, melt a bit of chocolate in the microwave, spoon it in droplets onto a cookie sheet and press one cashew per droplet but restrict yourself to about 6 bites. Less than a 1/4 cup which is the recommended portion.
