Are we talking calorie count or what? What "diet" are you doing?0

I don't diet. I am making a life style change and plan on being healthy and taking care of my body for the rest of my life!0

Diets don't work. You have to change your lifestyle. That's a life long commitment.0

I was on my lifestyle change for a year, till I met my hubby to be. lol I spent more time talking to him than working out. After we got married, 1 year and 3 months later, I am getting back on track.0

Diet: It can be just just count in/out calorie
or also count carbohydrates, fiber
3 big measl vs 5,6 small meals
How many times you work out, High/low cardio workout, etc.0 -
You should always eat 5-6 small meals per day rather than 3 big ones. When it comes to weight loss, that's the one thing nutritionists and experts agree on.
As for calories, micronutrients, and exercise ... I try to change all those things every few months though not at the same time. It really depends on how quickly I'm getting bored.0 -

When I find I'm no longer losing weight, that is when I tweak my nutrients. I've been plateau'ing for the last 4 months, but I think I just found out that I was protein hoarding and most likely causing me not to lose the weight. I'm trying to follow the daily allotment MFP recommends - hopefully that'll make all the difference!0 -

For some of us, the diet can't NOT work out... it has to change because we refuse to take NO for an answer. But here are some answers for you...
Sometimes you have to look hard at what you're eating. If you have stopped losing weight, you have to examine what time you're spending on exercise, and what you are eating that your body has no use for. For me, it was cutting out more fat content and pushing my workout time up by exercising in two segments daily, adding more strength training, and finding ways to cut back just a little on calories. If you are courageous enough to change something new for old, it can make every difference in the world. I found that courage to work a little harder to get better results.
Tweaking your diet and exercise takes time -- you need to give a new approach at least 2 weeks before you see any kind of change in your results. Change one thing at a time. It's easier to see what works. Then you can truly see whether or not that one thing worked. Defining these parameters is up to you.0 -
Russia,
That's good advice. Thanks0
