Body Fat Percentage Decrease!!

I went and had my body fat checked a bit more than a month ago and was told it was 21.8%. I went again today and it's 18.8%!! I've maybe lost 3-5 pounds since then but I've started eating maintenance but not logging my exercise (creating a deficit through just exercise) in order to reduce the amount of muscle I could lose through dieting. I've also increased my exercise from 30 minutes to an hour or more for five days a week.

At this time I'm using Jillian Michael's 6 Week Six-Pack and Killer Buns and Thighs. I can tell that although I haven't lost much in weight, I have lost quite a few inches. My goal is to reach 15% body fat because I have loose skin on my stomach and I've researched that if you decrease your body fat, that the skin will decrease too. So far so good, the skin does seem to be improving.

I'm hoping to reach this new goal by August. Also! My old weight loss goal is no longer achievable if I'm going for just 15% body fat. My goal is actually too low now, I have it set for 145 but by my calculations, I need to get to around 150 to get 15% body fat. That's subject to change though because before when I was 21.8% body fat, those calculations said I needed to get to 145. So maybe I won't have to lose anymore weight and just tone now.

I wish I had before and after pictures but I don't have any resent ones. I'm excited though! I never ever thought I would ever be considered "fit" or "athletic" and my body fat percentage technically puts me in the "Athletic" category

Good job! My body fat % is high: 24.5%. It is tough getting it down!

I think that my goal weight of 112lbs will need to be readjusted once I get there, because my body fat % may still be too high.

Congrats!!! So much work you put on, you def deserve it!!

and thats my story too. My lean weight is 148. I figure, that is more than half way on the "healthy weight" regarding BMI. It changes completely the panorama!

Just feel and be good to your healthy body! Keep up!
