What to do about vacation calories?

In a few days I'll be going on vacation for 6 days to the *tropical* Minnesota! (lol) To visit family with my boyfriend. Anyways, I will only be able to exercise either very little or not at all because I'm going to be helping take care of my grandma who has limited mobility. I will *try* to exercise but there's a good chance I won't have time to since granny needs constant care.
Should I lower my calories for those 6 days? Is there anything else I can do?

I managed to survive a week in Wisconsin by thinking about each day's meals ahead of time. I stuck to the healthiest options I could find. Since you're visiting family, maybe you could go to the grocery store on the first day and stock up on some good food options to keep you on track with your calorie goals. Planning is key to success in these situations. I didn't lose during my week away, but I didn't gain either and for me that's a big victory!0
