    I spend half of my time in Santa Monica and half in Oceanside -just north of San Diego...always into fun activities outdoors if anyone's in the area. I know of a few great canyon hikes, places to kayak and beautiful beach run locations...just drop me a line...

    Santee, a suburb of San Diego.

    There is a place called Anny's Fine Burgers in Santee, it is very close to where my nephew lives and we spent a lot of time in the San Diego area last year. Anny's is one of my favorite haunts...

    We would hike Cowles Mountain Trail or Iron Mountain then go eat at Anny's!
