Gaining weight back.....

Hey everyone. Hope you all are having a great Tuesday ^_^ I have a question to anyone who is willing to answer....
Since I'm considering to add a couple pounds to reach a higher goal weight, I want to increase my calories. However, I'm kind of afraid of where the weight will go....I don't exercise very much (other than about 10-15 minutes a day...) and I am afraid that when the weight does come on, it will go straight to my "problem spots", i.e, my thighs. I don't want to have to go out and buy new jeans/pants because all the weight flew to my thighs...
So, my question is: will the weight eventually redistribute? Like to my upper body/arms/etc??
THANKS ^^

If you targeted you arms, back, etc. you could dictate added weight to that area in the terms of adding lean muscle.
