Over eating~ the day after

Let's say you over eat a TON one day (like in range of 1000-1500 cals over your goal) and the next day you work out, **for those of you who DO eat back exercise calories** do you eat back workout calories even though you were way over the night before?

I don't always eat back my exercise calories but if I do have a cheat day I just make sure I'm under for the week.

I agree. I wouldn't eat them back especially after a night of splurging!

Try to focus on it in weeks, not days. Your total deficit for the week needs to be 3500 (if eating at a deficit of 500 a day). If you do eat back your exercise calories, look at that night of splurging as doing it early.

I personally tend to not try to eat back my exercise, but thats because sometimes it would literally be forcefeeding.

Some people find that an occasional larger consumption day does not necessarily equate to a gain the next (remember, you need to over do it by 3500 above TDEE to even gain a real lb) - water retention is real but usually temporary. But don't continue the trend and agree - look over the week and not just the day.
