So I am a girl who is 5'4 and about 133 lbs. I've been working more on definition than losing weight, but I can't seem to see any improvement with my stomach! I've done insanity, running, weights, and everything else I can think of but still see nothing. Does anyone else have this problem? Or have any advice on how to change this frustrating ordeal?

Your food diary isn't public so I wasnt able to see what you're eating.

But abs are made in the kitchen. Eat clean, watch your sugar intake, and make sure you're eating enough protein.

But, have you FELT a difference? Aren't you stronger, more capable, in your core? For most of us, we'll never really, really see our ab 6-pack. Physically, it's there. We all have the muscles... some may be in better shape than others. But, to see your abdominal muscle wall, you really have to have low body fat. Partly it depends on your individual genetics... where your body will tend to maintain extra weight, too. So, I guess someone could have a pretty killer 6-pk and thunder thighs. But, generally, other than just body shape differences, showing off a 6-pk ain't easy.

When I tighten my abs - or in the middle of a crunch, say - I can see them... bunched up under the layer of fat I'm still sporting around my mid-section. LOL
