Chocolate- & Biscotti-Dipped Strawberries

A crunchy coating of biscotti lends taste and texture to this party favorite.
Makes about 24 pieces
ACTIVE TIME: 20 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes
EASE OF PREPARATION: Easy
1 large almond or hazelnut biscotti
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 pints strawberries, washed and dried
Crush biscotti in a food processor or with a rolling pin. Melt chocolate over a pan of hot water. Holding on to the stem, dip each strawberry in chocolate to coat about half the strawberry, then dip into biscotti crumbs. Place on a wire rack until chocolate has hardened.
NUTRITION INFORMATION: Per piece: 28 calories; 2 g fat (1 g sat, 0 g mono); 0 mg cholesterol; 4 g carbohydrate; 0 g protein; 1 g fiber; 3 mg sodium.

I never thought of using biscotti in chocolate covered strawberries.

I know! its seems though you'd have all the best....the sweet juicy, the CHOCOLATE and the nice almondy crunch...yum! (i'm making these for valentines day and I think I won't feel as guilty as i would eating regular chocolates LOL....)
