For mine I tried the zig zag thing for a week and it worked. You eat about 300 cals less one day then 300 cals more the next. So on for about a week, I kept everything else the same (workouts etc.) and it took me about a week and a half to start losing afain after starting that.

I just took a week off dieting and mfp and regrouped, came back at the same weight, got back into the groove.

I'm kind of in a plateau now... I had a tmi problem that made me super retain weight and then out of feeling bad for myself I binged a couple times. Overall I ate below maintenance but the scale is up a lot. I can't decide if it's the tmi problem still or what, but I know I couldn't have eaten an extra 210,000 calories in a week and a half, so I'm trying to just get back into my routine and wait it out

I am half way to my goal and have been stuck for about two weeks. I am eating a few more calories in the form of whole grains and some fat, still keeping to about 1200 to 1400 a day. I am not exercising as much as I'd like so I am going to ramp that up for a couple of weeks to see if it makes a difference. It is so discouraging when I feel like I am doing everything right and don't see the scale budge. I know overall I feel so much better with the weight off so I will stick with it, I've seen some folks get stuck for a month and then start to lose again. It's times like this I feel like being older and post menopausal is tripping me up!!
