Any Western Massachusetts special needs parents?

Im not sure where to stick this but here goes. We currently live in Tennessee. we are from Western Massachusetts and want to move back. My son and I have a condition called Tinea Versicolor that is exacerbated by the heat, among bad allergies that are much much worse here. My son is 7 and going into first grade. He has Autism. I need to make sure he is in a school that is good about IEP's and working with special needs kids. I could call every school in the phone book but id rather hear personal experiences first if possible. We are looking to move back to the Greenfield area so any towns in that vicinity would work for me.
