body Fat Calculation

I know that an immersion test is the most accurate way to determine BF, but that isn't available to most people.
Using fat2FitRadio's military calculator, I come up with 18.8%. Using the scale I have at home, it comes up with 29%. That is a pretty big disparity. Is the home scale that inaccurate?
I have ordered the OMRON 514 for a more accurate model but it hasn't shown up yet.
