Macro help/explanation

Will someone please help me with macros, etc? I read various forums where people are talking about macros and the proper percentages, etc. Currently, MFP has me at 1500 calories, 206 g of carbs (55%0 , 50 g fat (30%) and 56 g protein (15%). I'm lightly active and I don't consistently workout, but I'm trying to incorporate it more. I do pilates once a week, plus walk 2/3 mile to and from bus stop 1-3 times a week, normally about a 2.5 mph sometimes 3, and trying to fit in Tae Bo. In a couple weeks, I begin a bootcamp class. Are these the proper macros for me?

Thanks for any help that you can give me!

I think it's hard to say what the proper macros are unless you give more information about your goals. For example I am trying to gain more muscle, but I also need the carbs and fat to do the HIIT cardio workouts (and because I enjoy eating that type of food!). I strive for a 50% carb - 25% fat - 25% protein. It seems to be the ratio I can attain with the types of food I enjoy eating, while also fueling my workouts.

I suggest doing a search for the excel spreadsheet BMR, TDEE and it will give accurate macros.

My goals are to lose weight & fat (I have approximately 39 more pounds to go), as well as tone. I have slooowly been losing inches, but my waist feels like it is staying the same. My jeans are loose, except for the waist.
