Hello, I have been trying to figure out if I may have a sensitivity to carbohydrates that keeps my from losing my bellyfat. I have been yo-yoing between the low 140s - the low 160s since I was 13 years old. I've been fairly active/athletic my whole life though and I say that is what kept me from getting way heavier. Also, I had two babies and had no trouble getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight, just never better than it. Also, my upper body and lower legs are toned, but my middle (waist/hips) and upper thighs is where all the chub is.

So, I've been wondering if I might need to look at what % of carbs/protein/fats I should eat in a day. If it is recommended that you get 50% from carbs, that is 175 grams of carbs per day. Could that be something that I should try to lower to maybe 100 grams/day?

I workout 5-6 days per week alternating between workout videos I have. S lim in 6, P ower 90, 30 Day S hread and jogging. I alternate cardio and weights and when I do weights in the videos I do the heaviest I can. Just wondering if anyone could relate to this body type or have any insights to would could help me over this hurdle I have tried to get past for 20 years. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
