My name is Michelle I am not new to myfitnesspal I have been using this for a few months I have not posted till today. To my surprise I have gained 5 lbs with that said I am officially at the larger weight I have ever been in my life. That includes the times when with child twice. It is time to stop the excuses and just do it.
No more sweets
No Diary
No Meat
No sugary juices
Just fruits and whole grain foods, I did this starting the new year and really did well until going away in march I did not realize just how well I really felt over the two months until now. I can literally feel the extra 5 lbs. Time to get moving.
I am looking forward to sharing and meeting new friends here.

Hi Michelle... I'm glad to hear that you're focusing on being more healthy. Just make sure the changes you make are sustainable. I have gone up and down so many times over the last 20 years because I would get focused and disciplined to lose the weight but then when I reached my goal, I'd return to "normal" eating and gain it right back. This time I decided to make significant changes but I accept that there are some things I will NOT live without forever so I allow myself those things and account for them in my daily calories. It had been much slower losing the wieght this time, but I know it will be much easier to maintain.
You can send me a friend request if you want support. I'm on every day and always make sure to give positive reinforcement to most of my friends' posts.0 -
Excellent yes, I would like that. We all need support to stay focused and on track.

Hi Michelle,
I too am on a similar plan- no meat, no dairy, and nothing refined. This is a sustainable lifestyle, but it does take committment, and preparedness. Keep it up!0 -
please pllbs ease please make sure you eat a minium of 1200 calories a day. I dance for my work out, I use 5lb weights while I dance. Im shooting for 30 mins 5 days or more a week. I know it sounds like Im not doing anything. But since I started it, I am seeing muscles, calves, biceps, thighs. and my tummy is noteably smaller.
What ever you choose to eat, make sure its something you can live with for the rest of your life. Your Journey is just begining. Once you have reached your goal, come maintaince. Because of that I have chosen to eat what I think I can eat for the rest of my life. Im lucky I have an MFPr partner in home. I also have really great supporters.
Good luck in your journey. Keri
