Gluten-Free, Low Carb Pizza Crust
I made this last night and I must say, this was the best low-carb, gluten-freen pizza crust I have made yet (and so fast!)
Original Recipe Here: http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/most_awesome_pizza.html
Low-Carb, Gluten-Free Individual Pizza Crust
3 tablespoons flax meal
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, reduced fat
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 egg
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon olive oil
Toppings of choice
Mix the dry ingredients; add the egg, water and oil. Spray a microwaveable dinner plate with cooking spray. Spread the batter on the plate in a circle. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute 40 seconds. Meanwhile heat a little oil in a medium skillet on about medium heat; slide the crust off the plate and into a skillet. Brown on both sides. Place the crust on a baking sheet; add the toppings of your choice. Bake at 350º about 15 minutes until hot and bubbly. These can be frozen as well!

Thanks so much for the recipe, look forward to trying it. I have to watch the sodium too so will have to find a way to cut that about in half. Thanks again. Ellen0
