Upped my calories acccording to BMR and TDEE...

and I have gained 5 lbs. in one week! Is this normal? My BMR is 1381 and TDEE is 2224. I am eating 1950 calories and excercising at a moderate activity level (running.. well jogging 30 minutes x3 week and JM 6 week 6 pack x3, JM Shred it with weight or JM 30DS alternating on the other 3 days, 1 rest day).

    I doubt it's fat. Likely water weight fluctuation. Give it a couple more weeks and make a decision after that.

    I've heard this is normal. I upped my calories to 1873 a few days ago but my scale's out of batteries so no weighing for me!! The first few days I struggled to eat even close to 1873 but today I'm over half way there and it's only lunch time!! YAY me!!!
