I am looking to start a strength training regimen but have no idea where to begin. What are some good websites I can use for this? Thanks!

get the book New Rules of Lifting for Women. i just got it and am about to start the program, but there are a LOT of women on here who are doing it with FANTASTIC results. the other program that's getting great results is Stronglifts 5x5.

I found Starting Strength to be a great augment for NROLFW. It gets into more detail than NROL on form and function of the major exercises. Onlt $10 if you have a kindle.

You know, I was clueless my entire life. The sad part is that I didn't know. I kept going to the gym and didn't know I was clueless. It was only until I started P90X that I got a good handle on this. I highly recommend the program. Is it the best out there? Probably not. Is it effective? YES. Someone else took the time to do the workouts for us. Just a friendly suggestion. :-)

Can't say enough about New Rules of Lifting For Women. Even if you choose not to follow their workouts, there is great information about nutrition and life habits that you'll want to make use of as you progress through your heavy lifting journey.

google starting strength and stronglifts programs. Then get with a trainer or someone who can help you with form/technique.
