Am I gaining weight or muscle?

Hi, I've noticed this week my weight loss has stalled. For the last two weeks I've been hitting the weights pretty hard and exercising 5 days per week. I can see my body, especially my arms changing but the scale is going to wrong way. So my question: am I gaining muscle weight faster than I'm losing body fat?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm going to hazard a guess that it's, at least in part, water weight. If you've recently upped you exercise intensity you've probably increased your caloric intake and your body is responding by storing more glycogen (1 g of glycogen brings with it 3 g of water)0
