Organic Protein Shakes

I am considering having a protein shake in the morning but I have been a bit put off by what I read about the ingredients in most powders. Does anyone have info on using an Organic Powder vs Non-Organic?

I have used Standard Process "SP Complete" It isn't a protein shake like muscle milk or anything, but it has 10g of whey protein and 90cal per serving. It has a ton of veggies in it too that are grown organically, but I don't think the whey is from organic milk-hence the lack of organic label.

Full disclosure, it tastes like brussel sprouts so I mix it either into a fruit smoothie or a peanut butter smoothie.

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but since I didn't see any other replies, I thought I'd add my 2cents.

Good luck! (PS, if you find a certified organic one, let me know :) )

I dunno if this is organic but they send samples for you to try before you buy. http://www.sunwarrior.com/product-info/warrior-blend/

They aren't bad tasting, choco is definitely better than vanilla IMHO but I am that way with most any protein powder.

I like the macros and low cals but I just can't get past the soy smell of it. I tend to stick with whey as that "smells" better when drinking so I don't have to plug my nose and chug. :-)
