Hi everyone! This has been my first week where I've used MyFitnessPal consistently. I lost two pounds, and then yesterday had a GIGANTIC binge on ice cream, shredded cheese, peanut butter, and cheerios. I feel really gross and sluggish now.
Normally I would have given up after this. I feel like I've lost the same 20 pounds over and over for the past couple of years now, and I'm sick of it! So I'm not gonna be so hard on myself if I go over 1200 a little, because let's face it, 1200 can seem like very little calories sometimes...
Anyway. Just looking to meet some new friends on here, specifically ones that are my height, 5'4". It's easier to compare notes with someone my height, rather than idolizing some 5'8" person whose body I can never achieve. But yeah, I'll add pretty much anyone on here, it doesn't HAVE to be people who are just my height, hehe.

Don't beat yourself up! Negative energy will only spiral into worse behavior. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and say "I CAN DO THIS!!" ... because you can!!!
We all slip and slide. We all have our guilty pleasures. They key for me has been learning how to moderate and manage so I can keep the "treats" within my calories and targets. Feel free to add me if you want, I'm always the positive cheerleader for my friends. (that goes for anyone who wants more friends... we can all use as much support as we can get!)0 -

I am close to your height. I am 5'5. I currently have lost 22 pounds but I feel like I sometimes sabotage myself with going into restaurants then it takes me the rest of the week to lose what i've gained. I ave been dieting for just over 3 months now.I would have hoped that I would be at the 30 pound mark by now. so I hear ya, but don't beat yourself up to much. Please send me a friend request if you would like more support or just talk.
