I don't have a hrm so I don't know how to log p90x any suggestions?

I just bought the series, and have a Polstar F7 hrm. Due to a freak shoulder injury from work I haven't started the series, just ab ripper, cardio x, and kenpo. I burn ~420cal with the cardio x, 380cal with the kenpo, and 120cal with the ab ripper. I burn more calories on the machines for same time frame. These disks leave my muscles slightly sore so I'm sure it will help to better tone my muscles (moving more than just one direction). Once I fully recover from my injury I plan on doing the series100%0
