It's So Hard.

It's so hard to get over the plateau not only physically but mentally too. After about 6-7 weeks of not losing weight or inches I started to get a little frustrated and wanted to give up.

I pushed through it and finally started losing again.

So my advice to anyone that is stuck:
1) Change up your calorie count ( I changed MFP from 2lbs per week to 1.5lbs per week.)
2) Change up your workout routine. I added some new sets and added a couple reps per set.
3) Do NOT give up.

Anyone else have any advice?

    Glad you pushed through, great work!

    The only advice I would add is stop weighing in during plateau. If you notice you're in one, just lay off the scales for a couple of months.

    Glad you stuck to it and moved through it. I agree with changing up the routine. I completely switched from biking to swimming and added some circut training when I got stuck and that gave me the kickstart I needed to get going again.

    It happens to everyone at one time or another. Like I said I was at the point of saying screw it, but I hung in there. It is very tough emotionally as well because you start to ask yourself "Is it really worth it?" Well YES it is worth it.
