Losing 1/2 pound per week using FitBit and MyFitnessPal

Hi everyone!
I recently bought a fitbit about a week ago. I'm already at a healthy weight, but I would like to lose just a few small pounds for the summer months. I want to do this slowly and I was wondering if any of you have tried to lose weight with the 1/2 pound per week using MFP and Fitbit. I track my "exercise" with FitBit and my food intake with MFP. I'm aiming for a deficit of 250 calories per day. Has anyone gotten any success with such a slow weight loss or are there too many variables that aren't accurate enough to lose this slowly?

Losing slow is the best way!
I have lost 19 lbs in 4 months and I don't feel deprived.0 -
You still lost about 1 pound per week. I'm talking about something even slower than that - is it possible to lose 1/2 pound per week without having bad estimates or calorie burning vs. calorie intake estimates? or do the calculations of just 250 calories less than my total caloric burn not enough (especially while using fitbit)0
