Special K protein drink after workout: good or bad?

Just curious would a special k protein drink be good to drink after going to the gym or do you guys know something better?

  • I would go for something with a little more protein and less sugar. Those have 10g protein, I believe? If you're talking about a high intensity workout, I'd shoot for 20g minimum in your post workout shake.

    I do crossfit strength training twice a week and cardio 3 times a week!

    Just speaking very generally since it's hard to give accurate advice without the context of your overall diet, you can probably find a protein source that provides more grams of protein at a better calorie total, which would allow you more calorie and macro freedom for your other food choices.
