I hear a lot of people talk about eating at their BMR? I'm curious, is this only when you exercise a lot? I'm currently 5'3 240 pounds and I'm set at 1.5 pounds for weight loss per week. MFP gives me 1400 calories to eat a day... MY BMR is 1705.. But my exercise is pretty sporatic... I try for as often as I can but usually average only 3 days a week... Should I leave my calories at 1400 or
bump them up a little??? Just looking for a little expert advice... My body is very tricky to figure out.. Lots of weight loss and gain abuse..

Thanks for any advice!!!!
Kim

Hey! Im pretty new here but i would tell you to check out the group called "eat more to weigh less". I came across it about a week ago and it gives really good info on BMR and all that and why you should not eat below it...i think if you go to groups under the community heading you can type in the name of the group and read some of their posts. Check it out! it really helped me get a better picture of things =)
