I usually use frozen blueberries, fresh baby spinach, chia seeds and almond milk in my green smoothies, with an occasional banana and/or scoop of protein powder - simple, quick and tasty, right? Well, today I'm out of both spinach and blueberries, with no bananas to be found, so I decided to try using the mixed greens in the fridge and cut up a fresh mango.
Dear sweet chihuahua in a purse, this thing is DISGUSTING. I felt like I needed to suck it up (no pun intended) and not waste the ingredients, but 3/4 way through I started gagging.
Blegh. There's 3/4" left in my glass and I can't even look it in the eye, lol.
