changed my goal

I changed my weight loss goal to 1 lb per week. I had it at 2 lbs per week and have not lost any weight in the past few weeks.

So my daily calories went up from 1270 to 1936. I was feeling hungry a lot of the time so perhaps I really wasnt getting enough food.

Good luck. I hope it helps. I know that it's frustrating to not drop the pounds. This whole life change is crazy.

Probably a good choice. This is a lifestyle change. You have to be able to do it for the long haul:flowerforyou:

That's a good way to try and bust a plateau. Experiment, experiment, experiment.

I can't see your diary, but make sure your fat, carb, and protein goals are all being met as closely as possible and not too far over, as well. When I first started, I was eating what I thought was a healthy diet, but my carbs were WAY too high and my proteins were terribly low. By swapping out some fruit for some lean meats, I was able to meet my caloric goals with a lot less hunger.

thanks Donnacoach! I had a bad food day today and so I was sitting here analyzing why I went off my program. I realized that I have been hungry everyday for the past couple of weeks.

I will see what happens now that I have upped my calories.

Good luck with the change. I would agee -- keep experimenting. What works for one person, doesn't always work for the next. Our bodies and genetics are different. Good luck.
