I have been at a plateau for the last 30 days, haven't gained any weight and haven't lost any. I've been on target if not under my daily calorie goal and just started excersising regularly. Any help or advice on how to get past this plateau????!!!!!

Hang in there. I just got off a 7 week plateau. Every day of it sucked but I stayed on plan and kept working out and now 3lbs in one week!

Here are a few sites that helped me.

Hold steady and don't change a thing. It will break on its own when your body stabilizes at this new weight. You threw off the balance by losing 33 lbs and now it has to readjust then it will get back to losing.

Unless you are not logging everything in your diary, your daily calorie count is really too low. Plateau's can be frustrating, but try not to get desparate and go too far under your calorie goal; it will only make it worse in the long run. Eat a bit more, and definitely get more protein. Make sure you get a good amount of calories in the morning, and try to divide your overall calories throughout the day. Think of eating 5-6 small meals, or 3 meals with 2 snacks, without your calories distributed fairly evenly. Get protein in every meal and snack. A new exercise routine should help as well.
