adapting plans when you have a cold?

So here's another question - when you have a mild illness, say a cold or a slight fever or something, does that mean you are burning more calories? Fewer calories? Does it give you license to eat more? Assume you can still make it to the gym and do more or less your normal routine. Yes, being careful not to breathe on anyone and to clean the machines afterward - or working out by yourself or whatever, but that's not the main question here....

If it is different it would be negligible. Assume you are burning calories as normal.Does it give you license to eat more?
Absolutely not!Assume you can still make it to the gym and do more or less your normal routine. Yes, being careful not to breathe on anyone and to clean the machines afterward - or working out by yourself or whatever, but that's not the main question here....
If I have a slight cold, say sniffles or whatnot, I will still work out. If you have body aches or any kind of fever, stay home, rest up, and resume workouts once your body has recovered. Your body will thank you as well as all of the people at the gym you avoided infecting!0
