You're Right

You’re right. It is easier to eat pizza than to run on the treadmill. It’s easier to turn to ice cream rather than people for supporters. It’s easier to say ‘**** it, I give up’ then to say it ‘**** this, I can do it.’ So you know what? I’m not going to sit here and tell you day after day you can do this. If you don’t believe you can, then you can’t. That’s the honest truth. You need to do this for you. And if you don’t want it enough, than you sure as hell won’t achieve it. So take the easy way out and remain unhealthy and continue to gain weight because you can’t realize you are the only one hurting yourself. I didn’t say it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.(not mine-TyTy)

That sounds like the talk I gave myself when I was recovering from hand surgery after last Christmas. It also sounds like a speech I gave my now ex-best friend except it wasn't about weight loss, just her damsel in distress attitude.

I know even as an artist I do need the time to sit down and basically do nothing but move my hand for a few hours, but I've found that while working out that it not only releases any stress I have if the piece is difficult, but I can use the time to brainstorm and that perks me up enough to keep working out.

Cheers!:drinker: I am so sick of people around me telling me their excusses for why they are not doing what I am doing. I didn't ask nor do I care! I love myself enough to want better for myself.

I follow the K.I.S.S philosophy KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, baby steps, you're body is you're temple and has been in ruins for years, Rome wasnt built in a day, take your long term goals and break them done into smaller easier achievable ones so its not so overwhelming-Ty focus on 1 meal at a time, 1 workout ata time
