Increase in hunger?

I have noticed that since I started eating healthier I've stayed hungry all the time, whereas before I had to force myself to eat more than twice a day. I've been trying to split my meals up into 3 meals and 3 snacks but sometimes even that's a struggle. I have noticed, however, when I do eat, I feel hungrier after I finish. Is that normal? Or am I just weird? lol On the days I don't get all of my snacks in, I don't feel as hungry. It seems the more often I eat, the hungrier I get! Help!

It is normal. You could add more protein each time you eat. Egg, Almonds, Yogurt, Hummus, Chicken or other lean protein.
Try to lower carbs a little.
I love carbs and will never give them up but I only eat healthier lower calorie breads and lower portions of everthing else. I find if I eat more then 30-50 carbs per meal I am hungry after.

Hmmm I didn't think about that. I've been getting better with my carbs and have moved on to wheat if I have anything bread-related. I had a pretty good sized dinner tonight and that was only a couple hours ago and I'm hungry again :[ It gets the worst at night and I have fought it so far. I know that was one of my weaknesses before. I'm hoping the more my body gets adjusted to this the better it will get.
  • What I do when I know I have eaten enough is to increase water intake. I brew tea (ginger and garlic) to curb hunger. I chew gum or brush my teeth so that I don't feel like I need to eat.
