what time are you taking your last meal? what does it consist of? and what do you do to stave off hunger after it especially if you've used up all your calories? or do you save calories for just incase?

  • I usually eat dinner at 5-6 pm and try to make it filling enough so I don't get hungry later. If I do though I will have something low in calories like a reduced fat string cheese or I just drink some water

My last "meal" last night was at 8:30-9:00. It was 1T of natural peanut butter and 1 skinny cow ice cream bar. Roughly 200 calories.

I usually have dinner anywhere between 5pm -7pm depending on my workout schedule for the day. It's usually a lean meat, lots of veggies, rarely a starch (brown rice, low carb tortilla, Flat Out bread), and a fruit or other low calorie dessert (SF jello with FF Cool Whip, Skinny Cow ice cream, Weight Watchers or Aldi's low cal frozen fruit bars). I'm pretty full after dinner and not hungry again until morning.
  • Last meal is at 10 pm. Casein protein + 2 scoops of pb/sunflower seeds/pistachios.
  • Sort of on vacation this week. Staying with friends while my guy is training, but normally we eat anywhere from 6 to 10 at night, depending on what time Tim gets off work and what time we go to the gym. I do not go to bed hungry. As a general rule we eat healthy filling foods. If you are hungry check out a list of filling foods online. A few are eggs, oatmeal, rice, lean protein, apples, Greek yogurt, and nuts. I think there are probably more. There is no reason to be hungry.

We eat dinner about 7 pm. For the most part I have 100-200 calories left to have a snack around 9-10 pm.

I will snack on greek yogurt, almonds, fudgesicle, popchips etc. Depends on if I want sweet or salty. I also take the dog for a walk after dinner so sometimes I just earn an extra 50-75 calories to give me the 100-200 I want for my snack too. Depends on what time we go out but we do almost a mile before it gets dark.

Hopefully you mean last meal of the day (I was think death row!).

We typically eat dinner somewhere between 8:30 and 10:00 p.m. Though on the weekends we may cookout in the late afternoon or early evening and not eat again.

ETA: dinner consists of 800-1200 calories usually. A protein (seafood, beans or lean chicken usually), lots of vegetables (we love them all), wine, and a grain (usually brown/wild rice or quinoa) about half the time. Just about everything (other than the wine) is cooked in evoo.

I eat dinner around 7:00, and almost always have a snack of some kind around 9:30. As long as it fits into my diary it doesn't matter what time it is. At least it hasn't stopped me from losing 83 lbs. in a little over 6 months...

I eat my last 'meal' around 5:30 PM, but my evening snack is usually closer to 7 or 8 PM and I go to bed around 9 PM. I usually eat 300-400 calories for my last 'snack'.

I eat roughly every 3-4 hours. My last meal with a high carb source in will usually be around 6-7pm. Then later on before bed it will be lean protein + veg/salad - NO major carb sources. You should not be hungry before you go to bed and if you are it is important to eat something as your body will be going through an 8 hour fast at least while you sleep and if you regular workout a high protein source is a must in your last meal. 1 hour before bed is usually ideal for me and fresh fruit with plain low fat yoghurt is a good option if you just want a quick snack before bed.

What's more important than WHEN you eat is WHAT you eat.
