500 Mile Challenge

I seen a MFP member who had a Nike 500 Mile Challenge shirt on, and for some reason it inspired me to try to run 500 miles. As of today I have only run 3 miles in my life (I'm 21) and I think it would be a great inspiration for me to run more. So 1 mile at a time I plan to work myself towards 500 miles. If anyone else is interested in doing this you can add me, or I would even make a group if people were interested.

I'm up for this. Will see when I get there. It's going to happen.

So far, I have run 25.5 miles in my life.

    Milestones are:

    First Run - 20th Feb
    First Mile Non-Stop - 12th April
    Two Miles Non-Stop - 21st April
    First 5k - 3rd May

Did my second 5k last night. Long way to get to 500 but I'll update regularly.

HI! I think this is a wonderful idea. I love running anyways, and NEED a goal to be motivated, so maybe this could be a goal of mine! Great idea! I am in :)

My goal is 80 this month. I'm game for 500. Running my second marathon at the end of September.

As in running a race or as in running on the sidewalk or a treadmill? I don't run races, but I do run on the treadmill and occasionally at home.
